Easter 2009

We always wonder if Dave and Denay will really turn their house over, again, to a crawling mass of kids, parents and grandparents, for the annual Easter Potluck and Egg hunt! Thanks to them again for a fun afternoon!

See spring break letter below

OK, so the posting for these pictures is under the "quads" heading.... why am I so blog iliterate? I cant seem to figure out how to change that! This picture of the quads is over a month old, but it is really something to have quad lambs! Momma ewe still feeds 3 of them, but we did bum one off to the bottle, and have sold it.

Spring Break in Long Beach, CA

Flowers like this in April? So nice!

The view from our 15th floor condo was so beautiful!

These are the quad lambs.

We just returned from our annual vacation with Dan, Elaine, Angela and Travis. This year we spent a week checking out the LA area. We decided there are definitely some things we could get used to... Our morning walk along the beach in perfect temps... The same wonderful friends and meetings... The warm sand... Time together with Elaines' family.... And then some things we never want to get used to!.... Traffic... Sooo many people, (like 18 million in the LA valley alone)... Locked and high rise living... But overall, we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, Dale wasn't really feeling 100% when we went down there, and by Wednesday evening he was really under the weather, and by the time we got home, we took him directly to the ER where they told him he had pnuemonia and his asthma was flared up, as well. So now, nearly a week later, and a Z-pack of antibiotics, and most of a dose of prednisone, he is starting to feel better. His voice is still pretty scratchy though. We also have Robert Corfield here, recovering from his colon surgery. He is finally starting to eat a little more than a couple Tbsp. of smooth soup, and so things are working a little better and he is getting a little stronger. Me? I'm the picture of health! It is such a lovely warm day and sunny too! We are looking forward to Rodney and Amanda coming home for the weekend. They are bringing a load of hay for the sheep and planning to work over the ram lambs tomorrow. We havent seen them since the first part of February, when they were home for shearing.
